Since 2011, we have built a reputation across the Midwest as a trusted developer, general contractor, and construction partner. Our portfolio includes multi-family apartments, townhomes, single-family homes, and commercial projects; all delivered with precision, integrity, and lasting value.
From start to finish, every project is led by a dedicated full-time site project manager. Our managers provide hands-on leadership, maintain daily progress reports, coordinate with subcontractors, and drive clear communication, ensuring each milestone is achieved efficiently and with excellence.
Roy Perry
Owner & Chief Executive Officer
Roy founded R. Perry Construction in 2011, initally focusing on single-family construction before expanding into commercial and multi-family developments. With more than 25 years of construction experience, Roy has successfully completed numerous apartment developments and commercial building projects as a general contractor.
Matt Jones
President
Matt joined R. Perry Construction in 2012 and provides leadership over all construction operations. He brings over 25 years of construction experience across both residential and commercial sectors. Prior to R. Perry, Matt spent more than 15 years in corporate management, where he developed strong leadership, organizational and operational expertise.
Dave Hegarty
Chief Financial Officer
Dave joined R. Perry Construction in 2023 and oversees all financial operations and banking relationships. With 20 years of experience in commercial banking, including serving as a Senior Vice President in Omaha and Sioux City, Dave brings extensive expertise in financial analysis, reporting and management. He also has significant experience with tax credit and incentive programs and has worked closely with Roy and R. Perry for more than a decade in his banking role.
Brooke Hegarty
Office Manager
Since joining R. Perry Construction in 2019, Brooke has managed the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including all construction draws. She brings over 20 years of administrative and business management experience across industries such as construction, legal, and retail.
Dylan Carter
Senior Project Manager
Dylan has been with R. Perry Construction since 2021 and oversees the company’s project superintendents. He holds an associate's degree in construction management and has more than 10 years of field experience, including work as a commercial framer, drywaller, superintendent, and project manager.
